Casual Outfit of the Day - Still Hiding a Postpartum Belly

For the past two months, I worked out incessantly. Yet I still have a jelly belly. Pregnancy does terrible things to the body.

To hide a soft middle, I wore dark tights. They are so slimming. Then, I stopped them with a button up, and layered with a black blazer.

This was one of those outfits that took little planning, but worked out well.  

About the Day


When I wore this street wear outfit, we were getting ready for our trip to California. Our family desperately needed a sunny vacation, and we were so excited. 

After Chinese school with the toddler, I left the kids at home, and conducted some last-minute vacation shopping -- deodorant, shower gel...you know, necessities.

  1. Nice look! Love the colour of the shirt. My last trip was in July and no more trips I suspect till summer again. Though I still hope for a short weekend out in a jungle resort.
