After promising feedback in the past months, I decided to acquire a custom domain for this blog. Also, through keyword research, I renamed blog title "Casual Chic Fashion." New title graphic coming soon.

About the Casual Outfit

I bought both the blouse and the jacket from JC Penny during Christmas shopping. Because both items match so well in color (they were from different departments, by the way, and were never meant to match), and I love layering with blazers, I decided to put them together. The turnout was better than expected.

Also, don't you just love the sequined collar? 

About the Day 

The picture was taken two days before New Year's. It rained all week, and I felt compelled to brighten up the day. So I wore the cobalt couple over a pair of dark skinnies. 

My husband was home for the holidays, and was excited to (finally) finish his masters. We bought wine to celebrate, and had a nice meal at home.

Again, because the picture took so long to post, I forgot what happened the rest of the day. Perhaps a visit to the gym? Nothing significant.
