Casual Outfit of the Day - A Busy Mom's Idea of Fun

About the Casual Outfit


My friend E was on her way, and I had 30 minutes to get ready. (30 minutes included feeding the baby and showering, by the way.) Casual outfit idea that morning must be comfy and quick -- something I felt good in, and can be thrown together in seconds.

These pants become looser each week. Though baby weight vanishes slowly, at least it's leaving.

Been dying to wear the top. So proud I found it for only $4. Its soft cotton felt smooth against skin. I also like the ethnic stitching, because it looks quite unique. 

This is not a trendy outfit, but it works for hanging out. 

About the Day


Another drizzly day in Seattle. What else is new? Lol.

E and I originally decided to see New Moon. Twi-hearts here. But the theater messed up its show times, and mismatched our schedule. Dissapointed, we compensated by joining another friend for delicious Cajun food, and a 2-hour chat at a local cafe.

When I came home, I realized how much fun I had, even though the day was completely low key. Guess that's what happens when you become a busy mom. Even sitting idol at the coffee shop seems fun :O).

  6. That sounds like a very familiar morning! I love your attitude about taking time to take care of yourself even though you could have just done yoga pants and a ponytail. It makes a difference in how we feel, doesn't it? Always lovely to "meet" a fellow Seattle style lover!!!
