This baby doll dress lasted through two pregnancies, and still looks amazing. I love its busy, ethnic prints, its elastic waist band, and how it comfortably rests on my body. Plus, it only cost $12.

About the Day

With only a few days until Christmas, I was on a shopping frenzy. Dropped the babies off at my parents', and made a mad dash for the mall. Within two hours, I completed presents for the entire family, and had five whole minutes to enjoy a cup of Americano.

That afternoon, I also returned to the gym after months of hiatus. I felt awful about my postpartum body, and was self-conscious to work out again with all the fit people. But I was determined to lose weight, and was so glad I put fears aside to push through a first workout. Even though I've got a long way to go, I at least had a strong start.
